Since its founding in 1987, Lamont Financial Services Corporation has completed financial advisory assignments on over 1,200 series of bonds totaling over $194 billion in par amount. Lamont's experience covers all types of market conditions and financing structures, enabling Lamont to assess the risks, benefits, and appropriateness of various financing alternatives prior to entering the market. Lamont has particular expertise in managing revolving loan programs, loans to localities for infrastructure improvements, and energy efficiency investments.

Our Team
Robert Lamb, President
Mr. Lamb founded Lamont Financial Services Corporation in 1987. Lamb’s expertise lies in developing new financial products for clients by reconciling a variety of competing program, financial and administrative policy goals. Mr. Lamb is also in charge of the Firm’s derivative practice. Mr. Lamb has been involved in tax-backed and revenue bond financings totaling approximately $200 billion, largely for infrastructure projects, clean energy, water/sewer, transportation, state revolving funds, governmental operations, housing, higher education and healthcare.
Mr. Lamb recently served on the MSRB Board of Directors as a municipal advisor representative from 2010 - 2013. He has worked with states, state agencies and municipalities to orchestrate taxable and tax exempt public and private offerings within a wide spectrum of ratings, credits, structures and applications

Mr. Lamb is licensed as a Series 50 Municipal Advisor Representative and Series 54 Municipal Advisor Principal and served on the Board of Directors of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board from 2010 - 2013. Mr. Lamb holds a BA and a MA from the State University of New York-Albany.
